Cirkusz Café: When you walk in to this themed cafe, you are immediately greeted with hospitality. The servers and employees at the cafe provide the upmost attention. As you step right up to this circus-themed café for a brunch experience that will make your taste buds dance with joy. They have the best ice coffee that I have tasted in Europe. From savory to sweet, their menu has it all, and their colorful and quirky décor will make you feel like you're part of the show. They easily adapt the food towards any allergies and more. We ordered the Pulled Pork Benedict that is created with hash browns, pulled pork, scrambled eggs, onion, hollandaise sauce and Avocado toast with beetroot hummus on sourdough bread, butter, chickpea cream, panini, avocado, lime, beetroot, balsamic vinegar, marinated beetroot, chickpea chips, chili, and sesame oil.
Ket Szercesen Bistro: This cozy and charming bistro is a hidden gem in the heart of Budapest. With a menu that combines traditional Hungarian flavors with modern twists, you'll be sure to find something that satisfies your brunch cravings. The breakfast there was amazing and the varies of drinks go beyond coffee. The other best part of this hidden gem is that you will not find many tourist here, only locals.
Lion's Locker: This trendy and vibrant café is perfect for brunch with friends or a casual date. With a menu that includes classic brunch favorites and creative dishes, you'll be spoiled for choice. They have various types of drink selections. I tried the creme brûlée latte and Hungarian Breakfast which was a great choice! Don't forget to snap a pic with their famous lion mural!
TwentySix: If you're looking for a chic and stylish brunch spot, look no further than TwentySix. With a minimalist yet cozy interior and a menu that focuses on fresh, organic ingredients, this is the perfect spot for a healthy and delicious brunch. We enjoyed the greenery scene and freshness of the restaurant.
Cookie Beacon: Calling all sweet tooths! Cookie Beacon is a cozy and charming bakery that specializes in cookies, cakes, and pastries. But don't let the name fool you, they also have a delicious brunch menu that includes savory dishes like avocado toast, chicken & waffles, and eggs benedict. The interior is also amazing and if you sit at the top, you can see where the cookies are prepared at. To add, the lotus caramel latte is a great coffee pick.
